Oceania Cruises Announces 2017 Summer and 2017-18 Winter Collections
MIAMI - April 6, 2016 - Oceania Cruises is expanding its extensive array of diverse cruise itineraries with today’s release of its 2017 Summer and 2017-18 Winter Collections. The culinary-focused cruise line unveiled 172 total itineraries that will visit more than 370 different ports of call. Of the routes shared today, nearly 120 of the sailings feature completely new itineraries not offered by the line previously.
The journeys - including the epic Around the World in 180 Days , voyage aboard Insignia - explore the four corners of the globe. From the majestic wonders of Hong Kong to the diverse coastlines of Africa, the picturesque landscapes of Barbados to the Land of the Midnight Sun, each cruise explores the many wonders of the world while sailing in well-appointed spacious accommodations and offering the finest cuisine at sea.
Guests who book a sailing from Oceania Cruises’ 2017 Summer Collection or 2017-18 Winter Collection before September 30, 2016 will enjoy an even more carefree experience with OLife Choice, the line’s complimentary amenity package. Sirena
The newest addition to the Oceania Cruises family, Sirena will spend most of the 2017 summer touring the breathtakingly beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Then, she’ll head as far north as Dublin, Ireland on the 12-day, Lisbon-to-Bilbao Kings & Kingdoms voyage, before making a trans-Atlantic crossing for the winter season. Several captivating 10- to 18-day cruises offer such highlights as transiting through the Panama Canal, as well as sojourns along the Pacific Riviera and to the South Pacific and Australia.
Regatta
Summer 2017 will find Regatta exploring the natural beauty of Alaska, with an array of 7- to 11-day voyages. Following its passage through the Panama Canal, a series of South American sojourns will begin, including the 21-day Pristine Patagonia cruise around the southernmost tip of the continent. Other highlights include the 20-day Fascinating Fjords voyage which will explore Chile and its spectacular peaks, islands and glaciers, and the 35-day Celebrate the Americas which visits a magnificent array of sunny Pacific Riviera and Caribbean destinations, along with a journey down the Amazon River.
Insignia
The first half of 2017 and 2018, Insignia will sail on an epic Around the World in 180 Days voyage. The eight segments that comprise the 180-day voyage will also be available for individual bookings. One of the many Insignia highlights include a 28-day transatlantic journey, Picturesque Pathways, which sails from Rome to Montreal and a 20-day Northeastern Quest that sails from Miami to Reykjavik, calling on an array of fascinating destinations in Iceland and Greenland.
Nautica
Northern Europe is the summer 2017 home for Nautica, with a touch of the Mediterranean included, too. One highlight is the 20-day Trail of the Vikings voyage, which sails roundtrip from London, with several stops in Greenland and Iceland. Once winter arrives, Nautica will journey to Africa and Asia on a number of 15- to 30-day trips, beginning with the 30-day Marvels of Time cruise from Dubai to Cape Town. A featured journey is the 30-day Indian Ocean Jubilee, a holiday voyage from Cape Town to cosmopolitan Singapore.
Marina
Marina spends summer and autumn in Europe, with a blend of Mediterranean sailings, as well. The Midnight Sun is an 11-day roundtrip voyage from London, cruising to the northern reaches of Norway. Come wintertime, Marina will embark on a collection of 7- to 12-day Caribbean itineraries, such as the 10-day Cultural Mosaic which calls on Ocho Rios, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; and Santo Tomas, Guatemala.
Riviera
Riviera will explore the Mediterranean, offering an array of 7- to 12-day voyages. Highlights include the 8-day Cosmopolitan Collage, which will traverse the French and Italian coastline and the 11-day, Barcelona-to-Venice, Fountains to Fortresses voyage. After an 18-day Transatlantic Traveler journey across the ocean, Riviera will spend the winter months sailing throughout the Caribbean.
Select Oceania Cruises voyages to Asia and Africa offer guests the option of a free three-night pre- or post-cruise Land Tour, allowing for deeper exploration of some of the world’s greatest wonders.
